When we shot for Iswarya’s wedding two years ago, we never imagined that we would shoot for her brother Somo Sekhar’s wedding too. Her wedding video was a massive hit, and we were so thrilled when the family called us again to shoot for Somo’s beautiful kerala wedding. We love our clients and they love back!
We had set some great expectations after Iswarya’s wedding and the challenge was to live up to it – and better our work – in Somo’s wedding. Somo’s charisma and the Kerala backwaters inspired us and catalyzed our work.
The bride Shree is from Kerala and there is always a ‘sense of aesthetic’ in a Malayali face. Somo Shekar would have made such a fine actor – watch out for his introductory sequence in the video, and you would understand why we say what we say. We made a small montage with the picturesque Kerala backwaters in the background, and the bride and groom swooning for Gautam Vasudev Menon’s idea of romance. It was the perfect Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya moment for real.
We stopped for a day to appreciate the lagoons and the pristine green of Kerala. Gorgeous couple, gorgeous place, and a very happy, warm wedding – we had a great time shooting them!
