Telugu weddings are the utmost fun to shoot because they are colorful and flavorful. The guests are decked up in grand silks and bright jewelry, there is a flurry of oranges, greens and blues around and everyone is exuberant. Vishwak and Mallika’s beautiful telugu wedding at Hyderabad was no different.
Mallika was so friendly and down to earth. She told us that she had researched so many companies for photographing their wedding and finally zeroes in on us after looking at our work. We were very excited to hear that! Mallika’s family also made sure that we were taken care of very very well when in Hyderabad. Our stay and our food along with the warmth exuded by Mallika’s family blew our minds away! Mallika was also a very involved bride. She was the center of attention in her family but she also kept running around the house, working on the wedding preparations and talking to everyone with immense sincerity. The Haldi and the mehendi ceremony was held at Mallika’s house and their hall was prepared quite stunningly to welcome the celebrations. The wedding was held the next day at the mandap in Hyderabad, the relatives were all set for the wedding right on time and we started photographing the couple as they got ready to celebrate the wedding. We got some time to do the couple shoot just before the rituals began and the bride and the groom were bedecked with traditional attire. It was a wonderful sight to behold. We then started working on capturing the rituals – Jeelakarra Bellam is our favorite ritual in the Telugu wedding and we made sure we got some great shots of the same. We would love for you to take a look at our pictures and let us know the ones you liked viewing. Did you like the shots? What is your favorite picture? Do let us know in the comments section!
