Pradeep and Soumya’s wedding was a mix of both the rural and the urban! The pre-wedding rituals were held in their traditional houses, surrounded by friends and relatives. They also had a nuanced haldi function which we presumed was the wedding custom of their family. They had some really new traditional rituals as part of the festivities. Haldi festival apart, they also had a bangle wearing ceremony where all the bride’s relatives got together and helped the bride wear beautiful colorful music-y bangles. There was a lot of joy and banter around.
The wedding was held the next day at Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu The stage was decked up really well, the wedding hall was also made to look very colorful. We shot some really emotional shots during their wedding. We also had ample time to shoot the couple shots. The bride and the groom were absolutely thrilled to shoot the beach shots with us and the experience was very cinematic for the both of our teams!
