For the past 8 years our team has been “Canon User”. The first camera brand we had our hands on was Canon. From then, our interest on Canon never diminished. We never even think to switch to another brand. At every new launch of Canon Camera product, we always curious and excited to explore it.
Now it’s Canon EOS R – Canon’s First Mirrorless Full Frame Camera. This is different from any other Canon cameras that we had ever used. It took us little bit of time to figure out how to change the settings and all of that stuff. Canon just innovated its own model. We got some little interesting features like the touch bar instead of a wheel. We can map to different setting with that. The lens ring system is a cool one which provides another way to map the settings. You can also fit all your EF lenses on it using the adapter. The little lens cover closes the sensor when we take off the lens. Flip LCD screen is an added advantage.
We have tested it in several aspects like ISO test, Depth of field test, shallow depth of field test, burst mode test etc.,
We all really impressive by the result and here are some sample JPEG and Raw images with a full production version of the brand-new Canon EOS R compact system camera and the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM lens, Sigma Art 50mm f/1.4 lenses, plus the EF 85mm f/1.2 and EF 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses with the use of the new EF-EOS R adapter.
We’ve also included the entire ISO range from 100 to 40000, plus the Hi1 and Hi2 settings too.
You can download the higher resolution and check it out, do comment what you think of it.
