Druga and Amrit got married at Sree Devi palace in Santhosapuram, Medavakkam, Chennai and we had the opportunity to shoot their wedding. They had heard about Focuz Studios, loved our pictures and their expectation was evident when they booked us for their wedding. We like it when our clients are as passionate about photography as we are, it only makes us work harder and deliver great results. Druga’s and Amrit’s wedding was a fairytale la-la-land style Tambrahm wedding. Druga has a very ‘antique’ ‘old-world’ kind of face and the traditional costumes really suited her well. We did our best to get some ‘antique princess’ shots for her. The Mandapam has a lot of space in the outdoors and it was useful for the photo shoot Tambrahm weddings have a tonne of rituals – Druga changed 8 sarees in 2 days for the different festivities like Viradahm, Nitchayadaartham, Janavaasam, Wedding, Reception and Nalangu. She was also always a very prompt bride. She got ready hours before the ritual time to facilitate our photography and it was very conducive for us.
