As photographers, we generally love to shoot traditional village weddings. The lights are perfect, the settings ethereal, and there is an archaic flavor about these weddings that we so love! Unfortunately, such opportunities come by us only very rarely. But when they do come, we go berserk with all glee and excitement. So in that sense, Jawar and Subha’s wedding at Villupuram was ecstatic for all of us. Jawahar and Subha tied the knot at a famous temple in Villupuram and we just din’t get the allowance to experiment with artsy pictures, thanks to the unusually uncontrollable crowd. Furthermore, there were many parallel weddings in the same muhurtham and we had to accommodate our shooting within the 8*10 stipulated wedding zone, and there was absolutely no room for beautiful portrait shots. So when we requested the couple for a photoshoot at a serene locale, they did not for a moment hesitate to oblige. We started our photoshoot at around 4.30 AM in a straight-out-of-heaven-like-village near Villupuram, which also happened to be the groom’s home town. It was a large lovely paddy field, and we clicked portraits of the couple in the lush green locales of an ethereal village to our heart’s content!
