“How to be brave” sang Christina Perri sang in the song that we chose to feature in Richard and Innes’ wedding video montage. This was a cross-cultural wedding. And cross-border wedding too (heh). Richard was from Namba Ooru Tamil Nadu, and Innes was a from Portugal, and they fell in love just sufficiently proving that love transcends borders, and language, and culture. There were Maalais and Elephants involved in this cross-country wedding, a touch of tradition in international goes a look way in helping nostalgia distinctly remember some specials. 🙂 The bride’s family were absolutely gung-ho about accepting a completely different culture as their own, and it was good to see them have fun in a place completely alien, yet, a place that was to become home to them. Love does such things, doesn’t it?
